Bio
My name is Mrs. Nord! Mathematics has been my life for many years! I have a long history of simplifying mathematics to students who are struggling, and I believe that all students are capable of understanding the subject with the right tools and support. My goal as a tutor is to simplify the content, and help students understand on a basic level, as well as more challenging level. I plan to make my tutoring sessions as personal as possible, giving students the opportunity to ask the questions they have regarding the content they are learning. I also have experience with teaching high school Spanish, preschool Spanish, and elementary grades.
Teacher Specialization
I have been an educator for almost 10 years. My experience ranges from preschool students up to 12th grade and some college. As a teacher/tutor, I have experience with algebra 1, pre-algebra, algebra 2, statistics, geometry, finite math, precalculus, and calculus. I have also taught Spanish. I have a bachelor's degree from IUPUI in Mathematics Education, as well as a Bachelor's in Spanish. I have recently completed my Master's in Mathematics Education from Indiana Wesleyan.
