Bio
I am a Special Education teacher with 15 years of experience in Florida, teaching grades 6-8 reading and writing, and I am deeply passionate about helping my students succeed. In addition to my classroom experience, I have tutored elementary and middle school students in math and reading, ensuring a well-rounded approach to learning. Originally from New York, I now live in Florida with my husband and our three energetic boys (10, 7, and 3). I love teaching and delight in making a difference in the lives of students in both general and special education.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a Special Education teacher for almost 15 years in B&M and virtual school settings working mainly with middle school students (6-8 ELA), and tutoring students at the elementary level (grades 3-5 - math and reading) and one year with SpEd elementary (3rd). I have two children that are currently in 2nd and 4th grade and work with them daily on their school work. FL Certifications in Elem. Ed K-6, MGIC 5-9, SpEd K-12 and endorsements in Autism, Reading and ESOL.
