Bio
Hello Learners! My name is Ms. Roth, and I am so excited to work with you. My teaching style is fast paced and high energy where the focus will be on helping you achieve success. While I utilized evidenced based instruction strategies, I recognize that each child is unique and may need instruction to be modified. I value student feedback and work production in order to do this! While the ultimate goal is for my students to master the content level, I also strive to help them learn to be critical thinking, flexible, and to keep trying even when things get hard! I will reinforce these behaviors through specific praise and regular encouragement. I am a firm believer that student learn best when they feel safe in the space they are in. In order to create that sort of space, I feel it is crucial to get to know my students beyond just the academics.
Teacher Specialization
After receiving my Bachelors in Elementary Education, I taught for two years in a second grade general education classroom before returning to school to obtain my master's degree in social work. This means I have amble strategies to keep your student on task and engaged in their learning. I am also trained in the Science of Reading.
