Bio
I’m an expressive teacher and lifelong learner who loves exploring math, music, and great books. After thirteen years in the classroom, I’ve found that tutoring allows me to connect more deeply with students and help them grow in confidence and understanding. Helping students discover the joy of learning is truly my favorite part of teaching. I believe strong relationships are the foundation of effective learning. I build trust by showing genuine interest in my students’ lives and by creating a positive, inclusive space where every student feels valued, heard, and capable of success.
Teacher Specialization
Over fifteen years of experience have been dedicated to education, where a blend of business knowledge and teaching expertise has been applied in various elementary classroom settings. This experience includes six years teaching 3rd grade in public school and seven years working with elementary students, from Preschool to Fifth grade, with a homeschool corporation. A Bachelor of Science in Management Finance and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) were earned, which fostered strong analytical and problem-solving skills. These competencies are utilized daily to assess student progress, adapt curriculum plans, and integrate real-world applications into the mathematics curriculum. Professional qualifications include a certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-5) and a valid state teaching credential with endorsements in Mathematics (K-5).
