Hello! I am Ms. Jessica! My teaching approach is to make learning fun! If you are having a good time learning and practicing the content, you don't even realize we are working! I have high expectations for all of my students and am a data driven and results oriented person. I provide opportunity for direct instruction and independent practice as well as chances to generalize the information across various environments. My sessions are structured and interactive! Helping students reach their full potential is my passion!
Teacher Specialization
I have taught special education for my entire teaching career. I have also taught in elementary general education classrooms. My experience in special education has carried over from Kindergarten to high school seniors. I have certifications with the NASA IV and V center, have worked with the Franklin Institute in reading and science implementations as well as worked with the Department of Rehabilitation services to tutor high school students who want to improve their admissions test scores.
