Bio
Hi my name is Jessica and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! With three years of experience in first grade, I have also taught preschool for over 6 years. My teaching experience spans across the beautiful state of Georgia and Michigan, where I have had the privilege of working with young learners. Outside of teaching, some of my personal interests and hobbies include running, hiking, and going on adventures with my husband and our dog. I believe that my hobbies influence my teaching style as I always try to find things that I can relate to with my learners. This helps in building strong relationships and creating positive experiences while tutoring. I am looking forward to getting to know your family and helping your kid(s) reach their full potential.
Teacher Specialization
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary with an Endorsement in Early Childhood Education. My teaching certifications include Michigan and Georgia Elementary Certification. My method of teaching is adaptable to what each student needs. I try to make online learning enjoyable and interactive for my students. I always practice beforehand, come prepared, and get to know my learners before our tutoring sessions to ensure effective learning.
