Hi Everyone! I am Joan Grace. I'm from the Philippines and was given a privilege to work here in US. I chose to become a tutor because I want to provide students the kind of personalized support they need to be successful and motivated learners. I believe that each student is unique and capable of achieving their full potential. My role as a tutor is to mentor students to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and in life. I aim that my teaching method adapts to accommodate the various learning style of students to ensure a successful learning environment.I am passionate in making my learners learn and ignite that desire for learning. To my future students, I am excited to have a fun, engaging and meaningful tutoring session with you.

Teacher Specialization

I have 7 years of classroom teaching experience—2 years in the Philippines where I taught Grade 7-10 Science, and 5 years in Ajo, Arizona, USA, where I taught high school Science courses including Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Environmental Science. In addition, I have 2 years of tutoring experience, which began during the shift to online learning when schools closed due to COVID-19. This year marks my 2nd year in K–12 tutoring, supporting students in ELA, Math, and Science.
