Bio

In my experience, the best way to learn is to make students love what they are doing, understanding the reason behind each definition, theorem, or problem. Learning is not only about the final result, but about developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills. My goal as a tutor is to help students grasp concepts deeply, improve grades, and spark their curiosity so their creativity grows, making them disciplined and strong. I focus on creating a safe, trusting, zero-pressure environment where honesty and communication are valued. I enjoy mathematics, programming, sports, art, and movies, and I love Cuba and the United States. I speak Spanish as my native language, have been a university professor, earned my Master’s in Mexico City, and became a tutor to connect closely with students and strengthen their knowledge layer by layer.

Teacher Specialization

I have one year of high-school math tutoring experience, three years teaching Statistics and Calculus at the University of Pinar del Río in Cuba, and additional experience in virtual education both as a student and as a presenter on online learning platforms. I have taught Secondary Mathematics for grades 9–12, including Algebra, Geometry, and foundational skills. I hold a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Cuba and a Master’s in Mathematical Sciences from Mexico City, with a specialization in Secondary Mathematics (Grades 6–12).
