Bio
It is a pleasure to meet you! I grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to New York, where I studied to become a teacher. This year, I’ve been traveling in California, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. I enjoy traveling and learning about new places! On my trips, I've been studying sea animals in different ecosystems and I’m planning to share what I’ve learned by teaching Marine Biology in the future. I believe that students achieve the most when they are engaged, experiencing success and building strong relationships. I strive to find real-world connections to class content to make learning more memorable and relatable. I love working one-to-one or in small groups to help students make progress quickly by tailoring instruction according to their individual needs. I encourage my students throughout the learning process by creating a positive and respectful classroom culture. I'm very honored to be a part of your learning journey, and I’m looking forward to working with you soon!
Teacher Specialization
Since 2017, I've taught grades 1-5 in traditional and virtual schools and tutored grades K-12. I've also created curriculum to teach in-person for grades 1 and 3. I have my Master's in Elementary Education and my Bachelor's in Art Education.
