Bio
I am an avid reader and have a love for helping students grow as readers. I enjoy reading and learning about new things, I enjoy traveling and learning about the locations that I have read about. I also enjoy quilting, gardening, and cooking. I am a patient and understanding person who looks for the best way to help a student grow in their education.
Teacher Specialization
I have 17 years of teaching experience in special education and with English language learners. I have taught special education pre-k through 5th grade for the last 17 years both in building and online. I have been a tutor for Varsity Tutors, Tutored by Teachers, and Sylvan Learning Center during my time as a teacher. I am certified in Special education Pre-k-12th grade, elementary education (k-8), and English Language Learners. I have a BA degree in history and a MA in special education.
