Bio
Tutoring has been my passion since I was 12 years old.I enjoy helping students reach their learning goals. I asses students and meet them where they are. I believe every student can learn given the right tools, encouragement, and support. I am committed to helping students achieve their learning goals and build confidence in their thinking skills and creativity. Creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment is one of my top priorities. I use different strategies, model and practice skills and concepts thoroughly with students through engaging interactive activities and lessons. I do my best to take into account students' preferred learning styles. I am so excited to work with you! I can't wait. Hope to work with you soon!
Teacher Specialization
I graduated from California State University with a child Development major and Multiple Subject credential. I was an elementary school aid, tutored college students in math, and was an aid in a preschool for children with learning disabilities. I thought K-6th grade for twenty years all subjects.I have worked with a full classroom, small groups and one on one both in person and online. I have worked with English Learners, gifted students, and students with learning disabilities.
