Bio
I believe every student can learn when instruction is clear, supportive, and tailored to how they think. My tutoring style is structured, calm, and encouraging. I focus on building confidence by breaking big tasks into manageable steps and teaching strategies students can use independently. My goal is to help every learner feel capable and proud of their progress. I create a positive learning environment where students feel respected, understood, and motivated to try. I build relationships by listening, celebrating growth, and meeting students where they are while helping them stretch toward their potential.
Teacher Specialization
I have experience teaching students from kindergarten through high school in both virtual and traditional settings. I have taught reading, writing, math, science, study skills, and executive functioning support. My certifications include Special Education (K–12), Biology (9–Adult), and Elementary Education (K–6). My degrees include a B.S. (Hons) in Environmental Sociology/Zoology, a B.A. (Hons) in History, and an M.Sc. in Human Osteoarchaeology. I am currently completing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. I have worked with learners who are gifted and those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, and processing challenges, providing individualized academic and organizational support. I specialize in literacy development, general science, math foundations, writing support, executive functioning coaching, and homework completion.
