Bio

My name is Kelly Goldberg and I am an Elementary School Teacher in San Diego, CA. I have over ten years of experience as an elementary teacher and I have also served on the Board of Directors for Friends of Leaps and Bounds Pediatric Therapy where I received the Volunteer of the Year award for my work with students living with special needs. My educational background includes receiving my Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Development, my MA in Counseling and my Preliminary SB242 Multiple Subject CA Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton. I also received my Clear CA Teaching Credential from San Diego State University in 2019. My teaching philosophy is that all children can learn if given a safe, welcoming, positive learning environment that is individualized to meet their needs. I am passionate about providing high quality learning experiences for students in grades K-6 and I look forward to illuminating new pathways of learning for each and every child.

Teacher Specialization

I specialize in K-6 general education (all subjects). I have taught virtually for 3 years and in person for 7 years and my strengths include making online learning just as enjoyable and memorable for the students as it would be in person. :) I also have experience teaching ELD for English Language Learners (virtually) as well as offering tiered support tutoring and interventions (virtually) for children living with special needs.
