Bio
Hi! My name is Kim Goodman and I am excited to be a part of the Stride Team. It has always been a dream of mine since an early age to become a teacher. I love the fact that children have this opportunity to learn & grow from anywhere. All children learn differently, and I am glad I can achieve that light bulb moment with your child. I believe that all students can learn and it is a matter of finding what approach helps each individualized learner. Together, as a team, I know every child can be successful and we will use multiple resources and their interests in ensure they can master any skill in ELA and Math. I will also build positive relationships by listening to each ad every students wants and needs. I want each student to feel comfortable and learn about their life outside of academics as well.
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northwest Christian College, now known as Bushnell University. I have been an educator for 15 years and really education has been a part of my life much longer than that! I have taught virtually for three years and the rest has been in person. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and third grade mostly. But, I have experience with K-12th grade in multiple areas. I also have coaching experience which helps with academics as well.
