Hello! My name is Kira and I am a teacher from upstate New York. I love animals, gardening, shopping, cooking, and watching movies. I bet I live in one of the snowiest states you'll ever hear about! I feel that students learn best through a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment. I believe that all students have the potential to learn and grow. I love for my students to enjoy learning and be a big part of their own learning. I personalize my instruction by getting to know my students and using their strengths along with how they learn best, to help them see their true potential and work towards success. I look forward to meeting many new students and having fun learning together!

I have been a New York State certified teacher for 5 years. I have taught all grade levels k-8th and enjoy teaching math, reading, and writing. I hold a bachelor's degree in education as well as a master's degree in curriculum & instruction.
