Bio

Hi! My name is Krystal Villacorta. I believe students best learn when they are engaged and excited about what they are learning through use of critical thinking, hands on learning, and real-world connections. It is important to look at each student independently and figure out their gaps in order to direct the lesson so that they may become successful in their skills. My goal is to help students build upon what they already know so they do not only achieve academic success but also see their own growth as they are learning. Building positive and meaningful relationships with students help them to feel comfortable so they can learn. I enjoy getting to know the interests of my students and learn what their concerns are with what we are learning so we can remove any obstacles that hinder their understanding of the lesson. I am looking forward to helping your student gain confidence in themselves and love to learn!
