Hello! Do you like space? What about rocks? Do you like learning about the environment? I love those topics! I am so excited to introduce myself to you and begin our learning journey together! I am a passionate, experienced educator, and I find so much joy in making an impact in the lives of students! I believe in meeting students where they are, respecting their unique needs, and developing personalized plans and goals to help them progress. I am very passionate about science and I hope that I can help you build your love for science as well. I believe that science is all around us and understanding our surroundings is so important. I love breaking things down and trying to relate hard topics to your every day life to help build your understanding. Want to learn how planets were formed by comparing it to cookie dough? I have been teaching for 15 years: 12 brick and mortar and 3 virtually. I have taught middle school Earth Science for 6 years I spent 9 years teaching high school sciences: Earth Science, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, Biology and Chemistry I currently have a masters degree in space education and another masters degree in educational technology.
