Bio
I’m married with one child, and our family loves exploring different cultures around the world. I’m also a wrestling coach and internationally licensed wrestling referee in Olympic-style wrestling. Much of my free time is spent with my family, supporting wrestling events, or mentoring new coaches and referees. With over 12 years of teaching experience across grades 6-12 and college courses, I’ve worked in diverse environments, from group homes to rural villages and suburban schools. I hold an associate’s degree in Math, a bachelor’s in Secondary English and Health Education, and a master’s in Information and Learning Technologies. Whether a student knows exactly what they need or aren’t sure where to start, I’m dedicated to helping them reach their educational goals. I provide tools that support their learning both with and without my guidance, across various assignments and challenges. I’m excited to support my students' growth and help them achieve success!
Teacher Specialization
I’ve taught and tutored English (6-12), Science and Math (6-9), Health and PE (6-12), and American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED courses. I’ve also worked with students with varying disabilities, individual education plans (IEPs), and English language learners (ELLs).
