Hello! My name is Linda Lu. I love reading, writing, psychology, and history. I taught in Asia for four years in South Korea, China, and Japan. My husband is from Shanghai, China. We currently live in North Carolina with our beautiful daughter. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading novels, knitting, listening to history podcasts, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends. My approach to teaching is student-centric. I like to teach through discussion. During lessons, I encourage students to make connections between the content they are learning and their personal lives. Research has shown this helps learners retain information. It also makes classes more engaging. My goal as a tutor is to help learners think critically, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions about what they are learning.
