Bio
Last fall I retired from the classroom to have a more flexible schedule and be able to spend time with my grandchildren. I love teaching and the sense of accomplishment when "it clicks" for a student I'm helping. I have a nurturing and encouraging demeanor which helps those who struggle with self-confidence. My hobbies include painting and spending time outdoors. All my teaching experience is with 9-12 grade students. Most has been in the classroom setting. Some of it has involved individual and small groups.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught a wide variety of math and science courses over my 25 year career. Those include Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Anatomy, Algebra 1, 2 & Trigonometry. Algebra 2 and Chemistry have always been my favorite.
