Bio
After teaching English for 24 years, I began freelance editing in 2010 and have edited hundreds of fiction and nonfiction books. It's great fun because I get to read about all kinds of things, from self-help books to thrillers to sci-fi, and I also get to use my English and teaching skills to correct and rewrite as I read. But I've missed the personal interactions I had while teaching and thought tutoring may be able to provide what's been missing. My teaching style is relaxed and patient, and I've never met a student I didn't like. Everyone has strengths, and the key is to use those strengths to help you work on the things you might not be so good at. There are no dumb questions, and there's nothing you can't accomplish! My husband and I live in sunny Florida with our four little dogs -- Beau (Bobo), Bentley, Lexi, and Sadie. The boys are a bit grumpy, but the girls love everyone! When I'm not editing a book or working with a student, I'm walking my dogs or sitting on the beach.
