Bio
My name is Lori Hagerman. My passion is helping students with their reading and writing. I believe that every student is special and unique. We all have strengths and learn in a different way. It is my job to learn about each student's strengths and interests and to use that information to figure out how to meet their needs and support their growth and success. My goal as your tutor is to teach you how to be a strong reader and writer. I want to help you to be a critical thinker and learn how to express those thoughts verbally and in writing. I am a very positive person. I like to really get to know my students so they feel like they have a tutor who will support them through their academic challenges.

I have extensive experience in grades K-12 teaching students reading and writing and tutoring students in reading and writing. My area of expertise is working with struggling readers.
