Bio
Hi, my name is Luciana E. Hall and I am a life long learner. I am an educator who guides students and allow them to have opportunities for discovery. I believe that education should mold character, nurture curiosity, and build confidence. I value rigor, creativity, and real-world application.My role as a tutor is to provide every student the opportunity to be empowered and build their confidence. I am dedicated to turning frustration into confidence through patience, encouragement, and effective strategies. I am a committed advocate for building relationship and making connections with students by inquiring about their interests, hobbies, and goal. I provide a safe, positive, consistent, and fair learning climate for students. I acknowledge their accomplishments and feelings. It is imperative not just notice the achievements, but the progress as well. Students feel connected when their teachers believe in them.
Teacher Specialization
I have been an educator for almost 30 years. I have a passion for math, STEM, STEAM, and neuroscience. I have taught every grade level in elementary and middle school. I was a Math Interventionist for middle school math. I have taught Pre AP Math course in middle school. I have taught technology for grades 6th through 8th. I have been a math online teacher for 6th and 8th grade. As a math educator for years, my commencing approach is to change the mindset of my students about math. I love to enhance my students’ confidence in math with valuable tools. With a vigorous foundation in math and science I am allowed the opportunity to build on learning. I have many years working with students in special programs.
