Bio
I am a Michigan-certified Middle School Math teacher with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have worked with students in both classroom and one-on-one settings, helping them build strong foundations in mathematics. My focus is helping students truly understand math concepts instead of just memorizing procedures. I break problems down step-by-step so students can see how the solution develops and gain confidence in their own problem-solving ability. I have extensive experience supporting students in elementary math, middle school math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra. Many students come to me feeling frustrated or unsure about math, and my goal is to make the material clearer and more manageable so they can succeed. I tailor each lesson to the student's learning style and pace, whether they need homework help, concept review, or preparation for upcoming tests.
