Bio
Hello! My name is Madison Bauer, & I’m passionate about helping students discover new ways to learn and think beyond traditional classroom methods. As an educator, I believe that every student learns differently, & my goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel confident exploring ideas & finding what works best for them. I love encouraging creative thinking, problem-solving, & curiosity, which are skills that go far beyond academics. Whether it’s breaking down challenging concepts, connecting learning to real-life experiences, or finding fresh approaches that make lessons “click,” I enjoy seeing students grow and gain confidence in their abilities. Teaching is not just my career, it’s something I truly enjoy. Watching students realize that they can learn and succeed, especially when given the chance to think outside the box, is what inspires me every day. In my personal time I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, thrifting, and being a mom to 3 wild boys!
Teacher Specialization
I started out with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice doing social work at an elementary school. I realized I loved teaching. I went back to school and got my degree to teach English grades 5-12th and Special Education. This is my first year not doing special education and focusing solely on High School English. I have taught in-person as well.
