Bio
I believe that students learn best when they are met where they are. Each student has their own learning style and strengths, and I believe it is important to emphasize that. I think it is invaluable to share immediate feedback to help students grow to their fullest potential. I would love to help students reach their full potential and understand the ability they have to reach their goals. I believe creating a meaningful connection with students is an important part of unlocking their full potential. I am a middle school counselor, and I love to read and spend time with my family. I love being able to be apart of student's success and helping them figure out ways to achieve their goals. Together, we can accomplish anything and I look forward to working with your student!
Teacher Specialization
I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a masters degree in School Counseling. I spent 2 years teaching 6th grade, Math and ELA, 1 year teaching 2nd grade, and 2 years teaching 3rd grade. I spent 4 years prior to college graduation tutoring for grades Kinder-6th. I have been a School Counselor for 7 years, 6 years online.
