Bio
I believe in order to see students succeed it requires creating engaging lessons where students are motivated to learn. I love getting to know my students so I can incorporate their interests and learning styles into our lessons. Collaboration with the parent is a top priority of mine as I believe students reach their growth goals the most when teacher and parent are working together. I provide detailed feedback and resources and love to hear from you too! I decided to become a tutor so I can help students have the one on one, individualized support they need to reach their full potential. I can't wait to meet you and get started!
Teacher Specialization
Throughout college I worked as an intervention teacher at a local elementary school to provide one on one and small group support to students struggling in reading and math. I attended the University of North Alabama and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education in 2018. Since receiving my degree I have taught kindergarten for 2 years and 3rd grade for 3 years. I am currently teaching 3rd grade for a virtual academy here at Stride!
