Hello! My name is Mandi Nelson, and I LOVE working with children of all ages! Learning is lots of fun, and I really enjoy breaking things down so that whatever you are studying feels easy and understandable. When I am not tutoring, you can find me line dancing, running, reading, or pIaying with my kids. I can't wait to meet you and help further your success!
Teacher Specialization
I have 6 years of classroom teaching experience along with 8 years of tutoring experience. I am a former middle school reading and English teacher, as well as a former 4th grade teacher. I follow the "I do, we do, you do" method and incorporate inquiry based, hands-on learning. As a summa cum laude graduate in K-8 elementary education, with an endorsement in reading and writing, I love education. I have worked with children ranging from 4 years old to 15 years old.
