Bio

In eighth grade I realized that standing up in front of a bunch of students and lecturing was not helping most of the students in the classroom learn. I decided then to become a teacher and try to help students learn to love math. I strive to get to know my students, how they learn, and where they currently are so that they can move on and develop a love of mathematics. Algebra is my favorite course to teach. It provides the basis for all advanced mathematics. A good understanding of algebra will take you far. My husband and I live in a log cabin in the woods and enjoy frequent visits from our four grown children, their spouses, and our five granddaughters. We enjoy traveling and have visited 49 states. Looking forward to visiting #50!
