Bio

Teaching has always been my passion! Each learner is unique and I strive to meet students where they are in order to help them grow as learners. I personally believe it is important to have fun, engaging lessons in order to really reach students so I focus on their individual strengths and interests in order to plan my lessons. My goal is to make children eager to learn, proud of their progress, and excited to come to their tutoring sessions. I hope to see them grow both academically and as confident individuals. I look forward to helping your students and children grow in their academic success and confidence!

Teacher Specialization

I have nine years of teaching experience. I taught first grade for two years, kindergarten for seven years, and tutored in grades K-8. I went to Michigan State University and have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education (specializing in Integrated Science) as well as a Masters degree in Teaching and Curriculum (specializing in Educational Psychology). While teaching kindergarten, I was awarded the Teacher of Excellence Award for my school.
