Bio

Hello! I love to teach students how to grow their brain with Math Mindsets, which will change the way your child views math forever! Many parents of my former students have reached out to me stating that their son or daughter who struggled and did not enjoy math is now taking advanced math courses as a result of my teaching style. A common occurrence throughout my career is students entering my classroom in the 20th or lower percentile and leaving in the 80th to 90th with a newfound love of math! Teacher Specialization

I hold a Master's of Ed. degree and a principal credential. I taught 5th grade for two years and 4th grade for eight. My students won 1st (2012) and 2nd (2013) Math Olympics out of 16 schools. I was honored to be nominated for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science. My students routinely experienced substantial growth which was demonstrated by tests scores that were of the highest statewide with 86% to 90% of students considered proficient or advanced in mathematics.
