Bio
Hello! My name is Melinda Hall, and I love helping students understand math better! Because math is the type of subject that builds on itself, I enjoy helping students find the gaps in their prior knowledge and filling it in to help them better understand the new things they are learning. I firmly believe that a positive relationship is essential when working with students to ensure they aren't afraid to ask questions or make mistakes! I always remind my students that making a mistake is just a part of the learning process (and a part of being human)! I am always happy to go back to the basics when needed to help--there's no such thing as a stupid question! I have been teaching since 2015 but tutored before hen too! I love working one-on-one or in small groups so that I can really focus on their individual needs to clear up any misunderstandings they have. I look forward to working with you!
