Bio
I believe that all students can learn and that they should be given the opportunities to reach their full potential. I believe in meeting my students where they are and helping them grow. My goals are to instill a love of learning and help students grow. I enjoy making lessons relatable to students and connecting with them through their interests. My students call me Mrs. Durant. I live in Tennessee and I love music. I have always wanted to be a teacher, so I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with an Elementary Education Degree. I have a lot of experience working with students who have disabilities and other needs.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with an Elementary Education Degree. I am currently in my fourth year of teaching. I have some experience with virtual teaching as I completed some of my student teaching during the pandemic. I have experience teaching all subjects; reading, math, science, and social studies. I have worked with all grades K-5 as I was a substitute before getting my own classroom, but primarily I have worked with grades K-3.
