Bio
Hello! My name is Michelle Salman, and I am thrilled to be able to be a Stride tutor for I am also a high school English teacher through Stride, and I look forward to helping you with your English assignments. I currently live in the beautiful White Mountains in northeastern Arizona where we have a full three months of all four seasons. My dog, Link (short for Lincoln) enjoy both going on long walks and just lazing around. I enjoy anything to do with being creative, such as quilting, painting, writing, and most recently, paint-by-number on canvas. I also enjoy gardening and landscaping. Professionally, I have been an educator for over 20 years teaching ESL, writing, and English at both the high school and college levels. I have been an English and writing teacher and tutor for over 20 years at the college level and for the past 6 years at the high school level. My professional background prior to entering education includes being a ghost writer, a tutor, and an editor. My passion has always been writing and English even when I myself was in high school and college, and I have taken that passion into my profession.
