Bio

Hey K12 Students and Families! Hey K12! My name is Morgan Gruenthal. I am a special educational teacher from Texas, and love to travel, be outdoors, and hike! I believe that all students can learn when given the opportunity to learn in the way that is best for them! I provide quick, and detailed feedback given both during sessions and after sessions to help students pinpoint exactly what they might still need help with, and what they already have down. Promoting student growth and academic excellence is always my number one goal. Virtual tutoring allows for creativity, flexibility and critical thinking, which are all great ways to achieve growth! Rapport with students is always the first thing I try and achieve, before jumping into the nitty-gritty with content! I believe that knowing about your students, and gaining trust, allows for students to be comfortable learning, and gives them the best environment to succeed.

Teacher Specialization

I have 5 years of teaching experience as an Elementary Resource Teacher, teaching primarily math, reading, behavior intervention and social skills. I have 1 year of online teaching experience during the pandemic, and have taught blended classes (a class that has both virtual participation and in person participation) and online classes. I have 1 year of prior in person tutoring experience, ranging from preschool readiness, to 6th grade study skills.
