Bio
Hello! I’m a former software developer and now a math educator with a lifelong passion for helping students unlock the beauty and logic of mathematics. My journey in teaching began back in high school, where I started tutoring peers. I’ve had countless students thank me for making math less intimidating and for never giving up on them. I believe that every student can learn math with the right support, consistent practice, and a mindset of perseverance. I focus on identifying and strengthening foundational knowledge before moving on, ensuring each student is truly prepared for the next challenge. Whether working one-on-one or with a group, I’m committed to helping students not only succeed in math but also develop confidence, and skills that they can carry beyond the classroom.
Teacher Specialization
I’m a credit recovery teacher with three years of experience teaching online, helping students earn their math and other subject credits. Over the past three years of online teaching, I’ve developed a strong ability to support diverse learners through personalized instruction, structured pacing, and consistent encouragement, especially those who may have struggled in traditional settings. I earned my bachelor’s degree in High School Mathematics Education from Western Governors University (WGU) through an online program, and I am now pursuing a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with the goal of further enhancing my ability to design meaningful, standards-based learning experiences.
