Bio
I believe students learn best when instruction is engaging, personalized, and connected to their experiences. I create supportive spaces that honor different learning styles, use inquiry-based and interactive strategies, and provide feedback that celebrates growth while guiding next steps. I aim to meet students where they are and help them strengthen both their skills and confidence. My goal is to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independence so they become active participants in their own learning journey. I believe strong relationships are the foundation of learning. I build trust by listening, showing empathy, and creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every student feels valued and safe to take risks. I’m an educator who has taught in diverse settings, including overseas, and I bring that global perspective to my tutoring. I love languages, travel, and creative expression, and I became a tutor to help students discover confidence and joy in learning.
Teacher Specialization
My specialty is in ELA, Reading, Math, Arabic, ESL, and SEL. I have over 10 years of experience in education, teaching students across multiple grade levels from K-8. My background includes both in-person and virtual instruction, where I’ve designed and delivered interactive lessons that support diverse learners. I hold a B.S. in Education and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis on language acquisition through content learning.
