Hello, and thank you for stopping by! As a teacher, I consider myself a demonstrator and a facilitator, rather than a lecturer. I want to provide my students with ample examples and opportunities to put their knowledge to practice, while enabling the students to work independently. Providing clear and simple instructions is crucial to understanding and moving on to more difficult tasks. My teaching philosophy can be summed up by a Chinese proverb: “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.”

I am a licensed ENL educator with 6 years experience teaching and tutoring. Additionally, I have a graduate level TESOL certificate. My teaching career began as a substitute teacher and evolved into a passion for teaching. I have worked with students of all ages, including adults. Lastly, I have classroom experience working with neurodiverse high school and elementary students.
