Bio
Hello! My name is Nicole Reese and I live in Austin, Texas. I have taught all elementary grade levels, subjects and have worked with many students identified with learning disabilities. Having a strong foundation in elementary education has given me the tools to understand the ins and outs of essential math and reading skills. I enjoy supporting students through their academic journey by building confidence and organization. Reading and writing are my favorite subjects to teach, however, I also enjoy helping students understand math, science and social studies concepts as well. I believe that all students can be successful learners, and it is my passion to instill a love for learning. Together we can make school much easier and fun. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you and your student!
Teacher Specialization
I have formally taught elementary grades for 17 years (13 years traditional and 4 years online). I have been tutoring for 17 years. I have a bachelor's degree in child development and a master's degree in online education. My experience teaching students ranges from preschool age all the way to 6th grade. I am comfortable supporting students in multiple subjects and topics.
