Bio
Hello! My name is Nicole Riley and I live in South Carolina. I have taught grades PreK-5, middle school English, EL/ESL students and worked with students identified with learning disabilities. I have taught in many different states and Germany. I believe in meeting students where they are, respecting their unique learning styles and developing personalized plans and goals to help them progress. I enjoy supporting students through their academic journey by building their confidence and organizational skills. I believe all students can be successful learners and find their love of learning. Together we can make school much easier and more fun. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you and your student!
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education , and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I also have an ESOL endorsement. I have 22 years of experience teaching diverse learners from ages 3 to 14. I have spent most of my career teaching students in an ESL elementary classroom (2 of those years were teaching online). I have also served as a reading tutor and middle school English teacher. I am comfortable supporting students in multiple subjects and grades.
