Bio
Hi! My name is Nooshin Eftekharzadeh, but my students call me Ms. Nooshin. I have a strong engineering background, holding a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. However, about eight years ago, I transitioned into teaching because of my passion for math, my love for working with students, and the joy I find in making complex math concepts easier to understand. I firmly believe that every student has the potential to grasp math, and it’s my job to guide them toward that success. My teaching approach is nurturing and student-centered, creating a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating. Nothing is more rewarding to me than helping students gain confidence in math and seeing their progress. I strive to be a positive force in my students’ learning journey, helping them not only improve their math skills but also develop a deeper appreciation for the subject.
Teacher Specialization
I have over 7 years of experience teaching middle and high school math, including 4 years of synchronous teaching. I hold a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona and Teaching Credentials in Math from CSU DH. My background in engineering, combined with my teaching experience, allows me to effectively explain complex concepts, leverage digital tools, adapt to different learning styles, and create a supportive environment where students can succeed.
