Bio

Hi! My name is Patricia, I am happily married and the proud mom of two fantastic kids. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors or just simply watching a good movie. Oh and did I mention, I am fluent in Spanish? Which means I can help you in English or Spanish. Also, I believe that fostering curiosity and a growth mindset empowers young learners to become enthusiastic problem-solvers and lifelong learners. My goal for my students to improve is to always walk away having learned something new or different than when they first started their day. I want to build a positive relationship with my students where they feel comfortable asking questions and wanting to learn more.

Teacher Specialization

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s in Education, and I have been an elementary school teacher for 13 years. I have had the opportunity to teach Math and Science from Kinder to 5th grade. During my career in education, I have taught in person and also virtually.
