Bio
First and foremost, I am excited to work with you throughout this tutoring process. My wife and I, along with our two daughters, aged 4 and 6, reside in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We operate a beef cattle farm, which is home to not only cows but also horses, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens. Every day on the farm is an adventure. In terms of teaching, I am fortunate to have a job that I genuinely enjoy. My teaching philosophy centers around the concept of having fun while learning. I believe that if we cannot accomplish our tasks and have fun simultaneously, then something is amiss. Last year, I was honored to be named the Super Staffer for my dedication and excellence in teaching. I assure you that I will do everything in my power to assist you in any area you need, and we will have an enjoyable time doing so. Once again, I look forward to working with you during this tutoring process.
Teacher Specialization
I have extensive experience teaching various mathematics courses and currently teach Algebra 2 at Insight School of Michigan. I have worked with students at all levels, from co-teaching to advanced placement, and have been tutoring with Stride for over two years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education and physical education, and a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities. I am certified to teach mathematics, physical education, and special education.
