Bio
Hello! My name is Praneetha Tirupathi, and I am an elementary teacher passionate about creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where every child feels valued and supported. I believe in nurturing each student’s strengths, fostering a growth mindset, and encouraging curiosity so that learning feels both meaningful and empowering. As a tutor, my goal is to provide clear learning targets, build confidence through timely and constructive feedback, and guide students in developing the skills they need to become independent, lifelong learners. I also focus on supporting multilingual learners through culturally responsive practices that honor students’ backgrounds and experiences. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of my approach—I take the time to understand each student’s interests, needs, and goals so they feel motivated, respected, and inspired to grow.
Teacher Specialization
I have experience teaching elementary education, primarily 2nd grade literacy and math, and am also prepared to teach Middle School Mathematics. I specialize in supporting English Language Learners (ELLs) through differentiated instruction and culturally responsive practices. My lessons integrate language development strategies across subjects to ensure equitable access for students with varying proficiency and readiness levels. I hold a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction (WGU) and completed my teacher licensure program at the University of Washington with a 4.0 GPA. My approach emphasizes reading, writing, speaking, and listening in literacy, and hands-on, problem-solving methods in math to make abstract concepts accessible. I also have experience with virtual education, using digital tools to foster collaboration, engagement, and academic growth.
