Bio
Hello! I am an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher with a love for educating today's youth, recognizing student potential, and setting high expectations for student success. My goal is to create academically engaging online learning experiences that fosters creativity, curiosity, and kindness using a variety of teaching strategies and differentiation when needed. When I am not teaching I love spending time with my 3 pups, being outside, hiking, and kayaking.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and from Carson-Newman University with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I am a former PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st grade teacher with 10+ years experience in the classroom and 1 year experience teaching online. I am certified to teach PreK-3rd grade. I have 5 years experience as a private tutor working with students on Foundational Skills, Reading, Writing, and/or Math Skills.
