Bio

My name is Rebecca Melo. My approach to teaching is to provide my pupils chances to develop into critical thinkers and problem solvers. My objective is to assist students with their academic needs in mathematics by offering them support by thoroughly explaining the subject with detailed instructions, giving them immediate feedback, and teaching them methods for solving it thoroughly. I also assess my students' understanding of the lesson using digital tools like Blooket, Nearpod, Kahoot, and the Desmos online calculator.

Teacher Specialization

For the past thirteen years, I have been a teacher. My area of expertise was teaching mathematics, specifically pre-calculus, college math, geometry, algebra 1, and algebra 2. I hold a master's degree in education with a focus on special education and a bachelor's degree in education with a focus on mathematics. I have been doing virtual lesson during the pandemic, and I have wide range of knowledge in using digital tools such as Blooket, Nearpod, Kahoot and Desmos calculator.
