Bio

I am Rhonda Reid, a veteran educator who is passionate about fostering both academic achievement and personal growth. Students learn best when engaged, so I use songs, chants, and rhymes to motivate young learners. My tutoring approach combines structure, nurture, and inspiration, guiding students toward growth, confidence, and mastery of targeted skills. I prioritize building positive, meaningful relationships and creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every student feels valued. Committed to student growth and excellence, I deliver constructive feedback alongside positive reinforcement, helping students develop critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. From an early age, I have been fascinated by words—one of my poems even won a national award in 1991. I chose tutoring to work closely with students in low-ratio settings, teaching targeted skills and making a meaningful impact.
