Bio
Hello! I am excited to introduce myself and to help you meet your goals! I absolutely love education and know that some subjects can be challenging. My family and I live in sunny Southern California. Every student is special and unique and learns in their own way. With targeted help, new ideas, and support, it is amazing to see students find what works best for them to achieve success! The tutoring process starts, of course, with helping each student learn the subject matter. But in addition, I aim to develop in my students critical thinking, creativity, and self confidence. I strive for my tutoring sessions to be positive and enjoyable because I truly believe learning can be fun - even if it is challenging. I love the outdoors, my family, and learning new things. As teaching is my second career, I bring experience and a desire to help students succeed as my own teachers did for me!
Teacher Specialization
I love to teach and use a variety of techniques and technology to aid the learning process. While I was a full-time classroom teacher, I taught both in-person and online. I've been a teacher for six years following a career in business. I have a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential with an ESL designation earned at California State University San Marcos and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
