My focuses as an English teacher are, simply put, "understanding and being understood". Learning how to "understand" what others are communicating through language and literature and "being understood" when writing or speaking are two invaluable skills for everyone to develop in. I'm available for help with writing, reading, grammar, and more!

I've taught 8th grade English with Stride for three years! I have taught 8th and 11th grade ELA, I have a Bachelor's Degree in English, and I am certified to teach ELA in grades 6-12 by the state of Michigan.
