Bio
I believe every student can learn! We all learn differently, and that is why I am here to support students' personal learning preferences. I will take some time to get to know my students, figure out how they learn best, and provide information, tips, and support to help students meet their learning goals. My goal as a tutor, is to help students move towards increasing their understanding of any topic that they need extra support with. I want them to feel more comfortable and confident with the subject matter. I am committed to helping students grow and learn, and ultimately reach their personal educational or career goals. Building a positive relationship with my students is my top priority. I will create an environment in my tutoring sessions where students feel comfortable letting me know if they have questions, or even if they don't like the way I am teaching something. Maybe there is a better way I can help them. Students need to feel heard, comfortable, and supported.

I am certified in English and Social Studies. I can tutor and support and 6th-12th grade student taking any English/Language Arts or Social Studies course. I have engaged in online teaching for almost 2 years. I have experience with teaching both regular and Advanced Placement courses. I have taught many students including: Advanced/Gifted students, students with IEP's, and English Language Learners.
